Accents Magnetic
Recommend a good Speech programme to me?
I have several large text files, and I don't have the time to read them. I LOVE listening to them on my way to work and such.
The thing is, the only "free" (free trial) text to speech I've found is "Magnetic Time iAudioize" It's supposed to be "natural" but the voice used is HORRIBLE I GRINDS my ears for hours a day, and I honestly can't take it anymore.
So do any of you know of a at least DECENT text to speech programme for free download?
(and possibly any NON US-Accents? lol more like UK, Aussie, or in my own...Kiwi? xD)
I think YAKiToMe! http://www.yakitome.com is the best free text to speech mp3-generating website around. They have many excellent voices from AT&T (would cost you big $ to buy them yourself) that you can use for free and download the output mp3 onto your iPod. They have UK and US English accented voices, as well as foreign language voices.
