Help, what is the name of this movie?
Please help me name this movie. I saw it on TV once, but could never find it.
Computer geeks work in their garage to build a computer for under 100 dollars. It was a school project or something. It ends up becoming famous and they sell it off for 51%. They end up losing the rights to their creation and they end up building a better one using crystals or prisms or something. It is like a hologram or something. And I remember that in one scene, it showed a humming bird in the hologram. Please help figure this out.
This question has been asked before and usually, as far as I know, goes unanswered. One "asker" described the characters in the movie as one fat guy and three other guys who create a 3-D black and white hologram. Is that what you remember, too?
My first thought was the 1999 movie called Pirates of Silicone Valley but I really don't think that's it. If you look on this movie site (allmovie.com), they list similar movies to this one. Maybe...just maybe...it's one of the similar movies listed here: http://www.allmovie.com/work/180308
