Light Elegant
What books/arrangements do you recommend for light, background piano music?
I was wondering what kind of piano music would be appropriate for functions, dinner and lounge. I'm looking for light elegant background music that isn't intrusive. The kind that just provides the ambience, and not the main stage.
Would like to ask if anyone can recommend me any titles of suitable songs/music, as well as publishings of these kind of piano scores, as I'm unable to figure them out on my own.
Once I got a couple and get the feel, I think I should be able to pick it up by following and improvising from the styles of professionals (from the scores of course).

1.Any of Einaudi's stuff is good.
2.Mendelssohn's Songs without words
3.Any Chopin etude's
4.Also try some really mellow jazz tunes like Misty or September song
5.Alfie, Shindlers List and Across the Stars are also great movie themes.
