Do you think that the series Rome on HBO has a positive assessment of the Romans and their emerging empire?
I have been watching the mini series Rome for class and I am not writing an assessment on whether I believe the show depicts the Roman empire in a good light? I believe that it depicts the Roman empire pretty accurately but Im not quite sure if I would call it "good" or not. Does anyone else watch this show? And what do you think?

I hate that the show ended after only two seasons. It was great television! I too think it was an accurate depiction. There were positives and negatives to the Roman empire. The empire ended so it couldn't have been all good.
