Steel Hanging
I have an Oak tree with branches hanging directly over my steel roof! ?
In summer, acorns cause havoc as they fall over my roof and make loud bangs. I love the tree and want to retain. Any ideas on how I can deal with the acorn challenge?
you trim as much as you can without hurting the tree..then you go and
buy a big net you know the ones we put on the apple trees to keep the birds off ,of it and tie ropes long enough and make it like a tight hammock in the area over the roof, this will catch the acorns and then you could remove them every week so it will not pile up and get too heavy..we do this with the apples and pears,so there is less to clean up on the ground..since it is a pain to do..try this see if it works,it
